Do you know about the women who were among the first to step on the soil of America over 375 years ago? Here’s your chance to learn about some of them. On March 8, at 2 p.m. at the , Alice Plouchard Stelzer will present a costumed talk about her women’s history book Female Adventurers: the women who helped colonize Massachusetts and Connecticut. Female Adventurers profiles a dozen women who are representative of all the courageous women who left comfort behind and migrated into a wilderness that we now call home.
