On Thursday, November 21st The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts will be offering a special daytime volunteer orientation and sorting shift. This event is specifically for community members who would like to join our warehouse operations on a weekly basis.
From 12pm-1pm, you will receive a tour of our facility and learn about our organization: where we get our food, who we serve, and what programs we offer. We’ll follow up with a brief volunteer application and explanation of the scheduling process.
From 1pm-4pm, attendees will volunteer in the warehouse sorting various donated product.
Things to know:
+ Participants must be at least 16 years old.
